Why do solids have a fixed shape? particles in a solid are fixed in place in a regular arrangement, solids have a fixed shape
What is the name of the change when a liquid becomes a solid? Whenever a liquid cools and becomes a solid this is described as freezing
What is sublimation? A solid sublimes when it turns straight into a gas, without becoming a liquid first.
