Grammar Some/Any We use some and any, when we want to say that there are more than ONE thing, but not a lot.When there is more than one thing, we put the thing in plural,when it is a countable noun.
We use "some" in positive sentences. Countable noun: -There are SOME shops in the street. Incountable noun: -There is SOME milk in the fridge.
We use "any" in negative sentences and questions. Countable noun: -There aren't ANY elephants in the zoo Incountable noun: There isn't ANY cheese in my sandwich.
