Despite the best efforts of the League of Nations and countries supporting internationalisation, world relations started to sour from 1929 onwards. Global economic depression, allied with the rise of dictators saw international tensions increase. This study note explores these events and also how the failure of disarmament greatly weakened the League of Nations.
