What is History?

HISTORY:

History unseals a door which reveals to us the past and shows us man´s experiences from the very beginning of his existence;
His Story.

Man has a story, This is his story.

What is History used for?

History is considered as the memory of society.The experiences of those who lived before us help us understand ourselves and the present better.

The exrerences of those who lived before us aids us.

What does history show us?

History shows us, that because of our forefathers (in effort to improve their situation) showed us we are what we are today and have built a road which has taken us to where we find ourselves today. Our experiences will be the history, studied by generations who live after us.

We are travelling in a road, in which our forefathers have built for us.

What does History tell us?

History shows us the following:
What happened?
Where did it happen?
When did it happen?
What made it happen?
What were the effects of the event?
How do we know about it?

History answers the following.

What does History teach us?

History gives us the opportunity to see all that has happened in the past and teaches us how we can stop and reflect on the progress, as well as the regress.
of many centuries of Man´s History, it teaches us that, despite everything, all men belong to one human family, and that all men have contributed towards society.

How do we study History?

When we study History, we are like detectives

When we study History, we are like "detectives". We search for and examine clues/evidence. We ask ourselves many questions and reflect as well as try to understand what has happened in the past and why it happened.
History is like a puzzle, if the pieces fit together, they match into one big picture.
