Obama explores his passion for the education of the young community by preaching the importance of parenting and how parents need to, “[attend] those parent-teacher conferences and [read] to our children and [help] them with their homework.” He lists off roles parents need to fulfil to show how important it is and this captures the people within the audience that are parents.
