Yes as I have not studied this before despitestudying art and history before.Easy to fit with the EPQrequirementsMight have to make more specific as it does seemquite broad at the moment. Maybe research specificartists, pieces of art that show this.TimeA lot of modern art is left up to interpretation, therefore a final argument or outcome may be hardto conclude however that means there will be lots todiscuss. Definitely achieveable as both art andhistory is widely discussed therefore it is not aabnormal topic to focus on. May have to focus into amore specific topic within this idea in order to get agood argument.AchievabilitySome art history is hard to understand.History really interests me especially whenincorporating ideas to do with modern daysociety and progressive ideas. Art also reallyinterests me and is significant in understandingand interpreting many historical events.Personal interestsThere have been many pieces of artwork producedthroughout history and also many contemporary artistsnowadays so researching and making comparisons will notbe a difficulty.Help availableRelates to 2 of my 3 A Levels but is also just a topic I am interested in.Also is will look into psychological and philosophical ideas too whichmay make me realise that is also something I am interested in .This will be helpful later on asI would maybe like to studyart and history further after A Levels.Your motivationMany different pieces of art documented through history online and in galleries, many artists with their own opinions. Especially contemporary artists will be ableto give strong opinions on this. Lots of information can be researched.Ease of findinginformationHave not studied this before but have done GCSE history andart which will impact my understanding. Have debated andresearched controversial topics such as this before.Current courseworkDepending on how specific I make the final topic focus, Ican include the ideas of how art in the past hasdocumented negative events in the past involvingracism and sexism, to how more contemporary artfocuses on abolishing these outdated views. It has thepotential to include many ethical points without causingoffence as it will all be based off history and present dayart and artefacts. Is your project ‘ethical’?EthicsNot a lot of art history knowledge but did study both art andhistory at GCSE. Also did some analysing and interpreting ofsources, some being art, during GCSE history.Current knowledgeTo what extent has the purpose of art changed over time frombeing a documentation of the past to aexpression of futuristic/progressive ideology?Could complete in time .Double click this nodeto edit the textClick and drag this buttonto create a new node
